Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid - 1-2 Days/ Week)

Job Description
Sr Java Developer with recent Python experience, along with AWS/UI with production support experience
Full stack developer who has skills in Python, PySpark, Java, API, React, JS, Angular and some AWS services, relational databases - Redshift/ Postgres, exposure to building UI applications, building backend/API services using java and Python, UI using Angular and react JS
  • Java and angular/UI are the most important and Python for lambdas
  • AWS services is broad - SQS, SNS, lambda, ECS, ECR use a broad range of services so these are the most important
  • Will be supporting production activities and enhancements, doing production support activities and doing minor enhancements
  • Looking for a quick learner since this is going to be a lot of support work L3 support
  • Split of production support vs. development depends on how many tickets there are - if nothing is going on from a prod perspective, they will be focused on automating tasks, making enhancements to the systems, etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills is a plus - most applications are data related, data warehouse application with data lake so data transformation projects will be going on
  • Whenever there was an issue, was able to figure out what the issue was.
