Position Overview:
As we scale our operations, we're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our elite tech team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest data technologies and architectures and will play a pivotal role in optimizing our data infrastructure to support our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Architecture & Management: Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems, ensuring data availability and organizational agility.
  2. Pipeline Development: Create and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and data sets using state-of-the-art tools and techniques.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely data availability and optimal data quality.
  4. Performance Tuning: Enhance the performance of big data applications and provide systems and infrastructure improvements.
  5. Cloud Management: Efficiently handle and deploy resources on AWS.
  6. Containerization: Utilize Kubernetes for scalable deployments and consistent operations.
  7. Data Modelling: Employ DBT to manage and transform the data in Snowflake.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest in data engineering trends, tools, and best practices to maintain our competitive edge.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  2. 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of solving complex challenges.
  3. Proficiency in Python.
  4. Expertise in cloud solutions, preferably AWS.
  5. Hands-on experience with DBT and Snowflake.
  6. Familiarity with Kubernetes.
  7. Strong understanding of both structured and unstructured data ecosystems.
  8. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
