Job Title: Sr. Lead, Platform Azure Engineer Job Location- Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA Job Type: 12 months

Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the architecture group to lead all aspects of the overall
cloud architecture and infrastructure (Azure)
• Lead all aspects of Terraform Module Library development and upkeep
• Manage Product Package development and maintenance (Python /
Terraform CDK)
• Lead development and architecture of the Product Package Orchestration
tooling (Python + Terraform CDK)
• Assist Product Lead Platform in decomposing epics and develop UAC
• Manage creation and maintenance of CI/CD systems (GitLab)
• Lead the development of monitoring and diagnostic capabilities for Ops
• Apply controls and processes for platform security to match GRC/SSP
• Oversee system releases, integration, and support in Tier 3 issues
• Facilitate teamwork, providing technical guidance
• Foster a culture of process improvement and efficiency
• Mentor and nurture team members
• Design, lead development, and operate an as-code solution a Role-Based
Access Controls (RBAC) to be applied to APIs for the platform, ensuring a
deep understanding of the technology and leverage experience to drive the
the overall direction of the platform development
• Identify common components, lead the process to normalize code and
capabilities into modules/libraries that support multiple platform modules
Qualifications
• Languages: Terraform, Python
Clouds: Azure
• CI/CD: GitLab
• Security: Prisma, SonarQube, Azure (NSG, IAM, Policy)
• Strong automation and tool/platform development experience
• Outstanding knowledge of Azure platform and services
• Proficiency in using CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab)
• Understanding GitOps with software development lifecycle
• Understanding networking and network security within Azure
• Experience working with data engineering and pipelines
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, Infrastructure as
Code (IaC), observability, security, and testing
• Understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration tools
• Motivated and driven by Agile software processes and methodologies
• Experience working on a collaborative Agile product team with Scrum or
Kanban
• Adaptable to changing requirements and driven to learn new concepts
beyond current knowledge
• Outstanding communication skills for conveying sophisticated technical
ideas and achieving organizational alignment
• Dedication to staying updated on new technologies and assessing their
potential platform impact
