Job Description:


Years of experience: 5 to 7 ( level 3)


The ServiceNow developer is responsible for taking requirements and building out custom catalogue items and workflows to support Enterprise Data Centre Key Roles and


Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into user-stories that deliver tangible business results and customer value
- Re-design legacy catalogue items in the environment to be more efficient
- Building out custom workflows to make Data Centre processes more efficient and to minimize risk
- Assist with standardizing the development practice within the EDC Tooling space ensuring using best practices and high level of traceability
- Responsible for comprehensive testing in the development environment for all the ServiceNow tooling in the Data Centre
- Responsible for the creation of test case documentation for business analysts and end users
- Determine problem areas in the current environment and recommend solutions
- Implementation of tested code across all environments
- Ensure Company standards, processes, and procedures are always followed


Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform designing, developing, and troubleshooting custom code
- 5 year's experience with designing, developing, and troubleshooting JavaScript
- Familiarity with SQL, HTML, CSS
- Experience working on ServiceNow's CMDB/ITAM modules
- Strong knowledge of database development concepts
- Strong background in software development, software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC models
- Ability to work with customers, gather requirements and create solutions independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work independently


Skills Desired:
- Experience implementing ServiceNow catalo in complex network environment
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- ITIL knowledge
- Experience with JIRA is preferred
