Job Details

What You Will Do
  • Provide full life cycle support and enhancements to ensure maximum benefit of custom-built applications
  • Responsible for the development of applications, upkeep of system interfaces, resolution of programming issues, system implementations and ongoing maintenance as well as documentation and training of the custom-developed solutions
  • Analyze information and apply general programming skills such as software design, debugging, documentation, and testing
  • Work with other members of the IT and Data team to deliver and support custom development solutions, systems and processes, the underlying databases, workflows and server resources
  • Partner with IT and employee users to determine needs while building custom solutions per business requirements
  • Communicate effectively with users and vendors

Qualifications & Attributes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field required
  • 2+ years of expertise developing software using Python, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap5, JavaScript, NLP libraries like spaCy, NLTK, macros.
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server, NOSQL development
  • Experience in XML and web development
  • Proficient in scripting Python, Pandas, and Flask/ Django Framework, VB
  • Extensive experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, and Functions
  • Experience building complex reports using SQL
  • Experience in Azure and building web applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge of the Below Technologies a Strong Asset
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, etc.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, Spark Data Frames, Azure Search and Azure Data Lake Storage.
  • Experience with REST APIs and Web Services MSFT Power BI, Airflow
  • Experience with Machine Learning models
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling
