Python Job: Site Reliability Engineer - Multinational

Salary: 39-45k euros yearly

Remote or Hybrid, in Faro

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Linux, configuration management tools

You have good knowledge from Linux Kernel and Load Balancing to PHP, AWS S3, from container orchestration to

MySQL/MariaDB and Elasticsearch

Automate all manual tasks (PHP or Python)

Knowledge in Kubernetes and Docker

GIT / merge conflicts / feature branches / merge requests / continuous integration

Business-Level English

NICE TO HAVE:

Docker and Docker Swarm, Ansible, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and AWS services

YOUR JOB:

Develop, maintain, and support our own docker containers

Own the product deployment and upgrade process end to end

Support and troubleshoot all running customer-facing systems

Work 50% of your time with our software developers, ensuring much-needed production improvements get defined, explained, worked on, rolled out

Continuously helping to improve both our product and the infrastructure underneath, with little to no guidance

Define reliability metrics and ensure they are kept by all the systems you oversee

24/7 On-Call
