Python Job Details

Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced Python Developer to work with a government services provider based in the Bethesda, MD area. This team is currently working to transition the SRT from a shared instance to a dedicated database.

Responsibilities of the Python Developer:
  • Help with database migration from shared instance to a dedicated instance
  • Develop a system-specific incident response plan addressing their involvement in the incident management process.
  • Develop a solution for the web scanning tool (NetSparker) revealed a Low scan finding related to the Disclosure of Backup files.
  • Source Code Disclosure / Vulnerable version of jQuery library
  • Update SRT architecture to patch vulnerabilities and SRT app UI on cloud.gov

Qualifications of the Python Developer:
  • 3+ years of experience in a database management or database development role
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • Database management experience
  • Experience with cloud.gov
  • Knowledge of API's and system maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Compensation for the Python Developer:
  • $120,000
