We are looking for a Telecommunications Support Engineer you will provide technical product support on CTG OSS products to Worldwide customers, HPE delivery teams and resellers, system integrators via incoming customer contact to HPE Customer Solutions Centers that focus on solutions for OSS products. You will focus on achieving industry leading customer satisfaction and loyalty through delivery of high level technical consulting to our customers (hardware or software issues). In a typical day, you would:

  • You will be part of a CTG Worldwide Customer Experience and Support organization

  • You will work in the Product support team that provides support to HPE CTG OSS Products and Solutions internal and external customers by:

  • Taking ownership and accountability in managing cases and customer situations using trouble tracking tools like SFDC.
  • Troubleshooting & resolving the incidents and problem tickets within SLA/SLO.
  • Working on complex problems / projects, performing troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues in the HPE Operations Support Systems [OSS] Fulfillment and Orchestration Products (such as Service Activator, NFV-Director, Service Director, Trueview, Edge Orchestrator, etc. ; more information can be found under this link: Telecom Operations, Network Automation, OSS & BSS Solutions | HPE /
  • Supporting the root cause analysis process, and ensuring remediation of major issues, development, testing and delivery of workaround and fixes.
  • Partnering with HPE Product Development and Product / Solution Implementation teams in providing a fast and verified solution back to the customer.

About you:

  • You have project delivery, support knowledge in the OSS Products, especially in Fulfilment and Orchestration

  • You have previous enterprise product support or relevant IT experience

  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator with strong teamwork skills

  • You have an excellent customer interaction, focused mindset and are a problem solver

  • You are quick learner, with ability to comprehend complex systems and you are motivated to help / guide others

  • You have development skills: Java, Python, Web Technologies, SQL and/or no-SQL DBMS (Oracle, EDB, Impala, Neo4j etc.), etc.

Education and Experience Required:

Master or Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder In IT, Telecommunications, or similar technical areas, where IT is one of the key disciplines., with 0-3 years working experience in related fields desired.
