Python Job: Python Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer with a background in coding trading strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated trading systems, analyzing market data and implementing mathematical models to identify profitable trading opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated trading systems using Python programming language
• Analyze market data and implement mathematical models to identify profitable trading opportunities
• Collaborate with the trading team to identify and implement new trading strategies
• Continuously improve and optimize existing trading systems through backtesting and research
• Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Python developer role, with a focus on trading systems development
• Strong knowledge of Python, including experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn
• Experience with trading systems and platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with statistical arbitrage, machine learning and other mathematical models used in trading strategy development
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus.
