Python Job: Senior Power Systems Engineer

NovoGrid has developed a suite of grid analysis software products, enabling faster grid connections, optimised control and enhanced trading opportunities for renewable energy assets.

The Job

NovoGrid are looking for an experienced electrical engineer with an interest in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading NovoGrid’s product development engineering initiatives. This is a great opportunity to be immersed in the trajectory of a growing company delivering solutions to accelerate the energy transition. The role offers exposure to product development, business model design, managing projects, and engaging with clients.

Your Role

The role provides access to the range of engineering activities across the business, from our existing technology base, imminent product offerings and future innovations at concept phase. At NovoGrid you will contribute to the end-to-end development and implementation of solutions aimed at decarbonising electricity grids. This is a growth role which will suit a self-starter, looking for responsibility and variety in their role.

Aptitudes

• PhD or Masters in Electrical Engineering
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Working as part of a dynamic team
• Experience with coding in Python, C, C++ or Matlab
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Self-starter, with a proven ability to innovate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
