‘What will your day look like?
As an Engineer you will be a part of the Advanced Analytics Squad. The Advanced Analytics platform(AAP) provides a collaborative ecosystem of analytics tools, cognitive services, data discovery, management, and governance capabilities(includes tools such as SAS , IBM Watson, WMLA, RStudio) designed for teams to minimize the time it takes to solve business problems.
The platform is used to run analytics and data science activities to enable ANZ to meet customer and regulatory expectations for the lifecycle of how to identify, investigate, report and learn from breaches of financial services laws.
You will understand the power of data as you creatively push boundaries with teams, stakeholders, and peers to reshape how the organisation visualises data and solution; support the direction of technology platforms; drive innovation with a sense of purpose that will ultimately enhance our customer and system interactions.
‘What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Ability to breakdown complex business problems and analyse them by employing a variety of analytical techniques
Python programming skills
SQL programming skills
At least 3 years of experience programming in Python according to the best solutions (documentation, testing)
Experience with R will be a plus
Good knowledge of GIT, Linux, Bitbucket
Experience in DevOps pipeline is a plus
Experience in NAS and SAN storages
