The Role

Working as a member of the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team, you will work across our Digital, Retail, Gaming and Support Areas, learning how the business works and using analytics to drive business performance.

You will be joining a dynamic, innovative, and fast-growing betting company. You will use and develop your analytical skills and gain experience working on an exciting range of business focused initiates across all the channels, platforms and markets we operate in. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn and develop working in partnership with business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding what the business does, their processes and systems
  • Learning and fully understanding our data, our data landscape, and our applications
  • Reporting and analysing business performance and emerging trends
  • Developing tableau dashboards to allow teams drive key performance metrics
  • Conducting quantitative analysis and data modelling to develop predictions and insights
  • Building relationships and working cross functionally
  • Communicating insights to senior management and across the organisation.
  • Working on strategic data and analytics led projects, including enhancements to our analytics capabilities

Requirements

  • Honours Degree or Masters in a numerate or technical discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an appetite to use analytics to extract business value.
  • Practical experience of business analytics an advantage.
  • Experience using visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI etc).
  • Experience of SQL and manipulating multi-dimensional datasets.
  • Experience of statistical software and techniques (e.g. in R, Python, C#, VBA etc.).
  • Good communication skills with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest or experience in the gambling industry, sports or horse racing an advantage.
