The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Insights Analyst, permanent full time roles within Advanced Analytics & Insights divison. This role will work as part of a discreet team responsible for generating, interpreting, managing and communicating customer insights to help leaders understand those factors that drive and influence the performance of their division.

Your role will include

• Contribute to the development of insights and provide recommendations to influence traffic volumes, journey time reliability, and safety of the roads, active and public transport networks
• Undertake visualisation of data to empower better decision making, with minimal latency
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to improve process and efficiency of network and customer experience across all modes of Transport.
• Communicate and engage with stakeholders to collect requirements and communicate insights to improve understanding of factors impacting roads, active and public transport performance.
• Design, analysis, and maintenance of analysis programmes or tools including Household Travel Survey, VOC, Complaints or Customer Journey Tool.

About you

To be successful in the role

• You have qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or Statistics.
• Expert level skills and experience using SQL to perform analysis and manipulate data efficiently and knowledge of relational databases and architecture.
• Knowledge and experience using Advanced Analytics applications (Python or R)
• Data visualisation applications such as Power BI, Tableau or AWS QuickSight.
• Experience with Big Data platforms and associated applications.
• Ability to coordinate with other teams for planning, design, governance, engineering and release management of processes and products to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data and analytics services.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($108,770.00 - $121,822.00) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.??
