Sherpany was founded in 2011 with a vision of creating a world where every meeting counts. Our team is building a mobile and web based platform that allows effective decision making by digitally transforming meeting management processes. Tasks

Responsibilities (what you will be doing):
  • Developing new features in product’s REST API and maintaining the existing ones in accordance with the best web security practices
  • Optimizing the performance of the application
  • Writing and maintaining unit tests
  • Taking part in the design process of new features by providing feedback from Backend Engineer’s perspective
Requirements

Requirements (what we will love about you):
  • Experience with RESTful API design
  • Extensive experience developing and deploying web apps with Python/Django
  • Ability to debug at all levels of the stack
  • Experience with asynchronous processing (we’re using Celery)
  • Strong understanding of SQL, especially in the context of performance
  • Knowledge of Docker and related technologies
  • A bonus: familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystem
