Responsibilities:

As a Remote Python Developer - API - Django/Flask/Fastapi within the product development team, you will be responsible for designing and building the user interface layer (UI) of the product. As part of an agile cross-functional team (which also includes engineers from our 3 rd party hosting and development partner) the Remote Python Developer - API - Django/Flask/Fastapi will be empowered to drive the product to the next level, supporting our ambitious growth plans. The role is a fast-paced, exciting position and an opportunity to develop a broad range of high-demand skills.

Technical Skills:

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience Python development
  • Deep understanding of API design; best practice; the ‘why’ not just the ‘how’
  • Technologies: Python 3.7+; Flask; RESTful APIs Deployed on Azure App service
  • Hands on success delivering cloud-hosted web api applications is required
  • Experience of Agile / SCRUM principles or equivalent methodology

Nice to Have:

  • Data Processing: Azure Databricks (Pyspark); SQL; Azure Function Apps
  • Data / Session Storage: Azure DataLake v2; Storage Table; Cosmos DB
  • Data orchestration: Azure Data factory; Azure Synapse
  • Microsoft Azure platform – web app service, identity management, key vault
