About Lessons Australia

Lessons Australia is an educational organisation that connects students of all ages with quality one-on-one and/or group tuition. Our experienced and enthusiastic team of tutors deliver both local and online lessons/tutoring across Greater Sydney and to students nationwide.

Over the past five years, Lessons Australia has exclusively delivered music tuition; however, as from mid-2022, we offer lessons and tutoring in the following fields:

• Academic
• Music
• Language
• Dance
• Performing Arts
• Visual Arts
• Culinary Arts
• Computing & Technology
• Sport & Fitness
• Health & Wellness

Tutoring Opportunities

We are currently looking for new teachers & tutors in the above fields to join our existing team of passionate educators. Tutors may elect to work in their chosen area/s of expertise with primary, secondary, tertiary and/or adult students. Our tutors enjoy a flexible arrangement where they can choose a range of working preferences to best support their professional needs.

Our tutors enjoy:

• The ability to teach locally (at the tutor’s location or student’s location) and/or provide online lessons to students nationwide.
• Flexible working hours to suit lifestyle requirements and fit in with existing commitments/work.
• The ability to select a suitable rate of pay in accordance with their experience and expertise. On average, our tutors earn between $30 - $100/hr.
• The ability to stipulate preferred ages taught and class sizes.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Tutors must hold a current Australian working visa or be a full-time resident of Australia.
• Whilst not mandatory, tutors are encouraged to hold a current Working with Children Check or recent Police Check.
• Be willing to teach for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
• Be passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and educating students.
• Must demonstrate an appropriate understanding of technology if electing to teach online.
