Role and responsibilities

  • Perform simulations to predict system performance on throughput.
  • Validate software solutions and hardware modules impacting productivity and which are developed by various DE-ASML groups.
  • Create throughout validation strategies for the integrated systems.
  • Troubleshoot productivity related issues in the field and factory.
  • Monitor factory and field data and perform analyses to identify trends and initiate improvement proposals for the next generation of EUV systems.

Education and experience

PhD or Technical University Master’s (applied) physics or engineering.

Experience:


  • Analytical and experimental experience
  • Scripting skills in MATLAB and/or Python
  • Affinity or previous experience on a system level is preferred
  • Previous experience on EUV scanner is desirable

Productivity group mission

The mission of our group is to optimize throughput of the ASML EUV systems (simply said maximize the number of wafers exposed per hour). As such we have a direct impact on enabling ASML customers to increase their production capabilities. To support this mission, we predict productivity performances and validate, analyze & drive solutions to secure throughout specifications. Our Productivity group consists of 20 team members and is part of the Development & Engineering (DE) sector within ASML. You will work in an Agile team within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) organization.
