Advisor, Vulnerability Scanning (APEX)

What you’ll achieve

As an Advisor, Vulnerability Scanning Lead in our Vulnerability Assessments and Automation team you will be the lead in designing, implementing, and supporting vulnerability detection solutions for our internal security platforms within our edge computing services. By working alongside our product delivery and security teams you will have an opportunity to influence the platform designs for one of Dell’s new customer platforms that represents the future of how we enable our customers to achieve their best results.

You will:

• Participate in the design, development and support of technical solutions and processes which quickly and accurately identify vulnerabilities and provide context-enriched information to internal stakeholders to drive remediation

• Regularly interact with senior leadership and IT Stakeholders and work cross-functionally with other leads in Cybersecurity, IT and business functions to meet program goals and objectives

• Identify and drive adoption of new technical platforms and service offerings in pursuit of delivering accurate and actionable insight on vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our products and environments

• Handle internal customer escalations and support product engineering teams responding to customer feedback and escalated inquiries.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity

• Knowledge of enterprise vulnerability scanning tools (Nexpose/InsightVM, Tenable IO, Qualys, Prisma/Twistlock, AppScan, Checkmarx etc.)

• Understanding and knowledge of OWASP tools and methodologies and security attack vectors

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or equivalent)

• Experience with one or more cloud and container platforms such as AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, and Kubernetes

Desired Requirements

• Experience working in with agile/lean methodology with strong product ownership

• Experience using and consulting on CIS and DISA STIG benchmarks and knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA compliance methodologies
