Python Job: Engineer

What will you do?

You will design, implement and maintain IT systems and will drive the implementation of a secure, efficient and easy to use endpoint environment for our internal customers. Further you will have the following responsibilities:

• Driving the implementation of a new workspace/ endpoint environment;
• Implementing clear, structural improvements to the IT workspace environment;
• Creating efficiency and reducing errors through automation;
• Translating functional & technical requirements to IT solutions;
• Coordinating technical projects;
• Providing expert (3rd line) support on the workspace environment to support staff & other engineers.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, as well as relevant (professional or expert level) certifications (such as MD100 and MD101);
• Proven ability to implement and improve IT systems;
• Extensive knowledge of workspace related Microsoft technologies, like Windows 10/11, WSUS, Active Directory, Azure AD, office365, Intune and MS teams;
• Experience with implementing and administering endpoint security solutions (endpoint protection, EDR, etc.)
• Scripting knowledge (such as powershell, Python);
• The ability to work in an Agile/ DevOps way and manage vendors;
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills;
• You are proficient in English (‘must have’) and Dutch (‘nice to have’), both verbally and in writing;
• The ability to explain and articulate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders;
• The flexibility to periodically be on stand-by, work outside of regular hours as necessary and travel internationally.
