Your mission

  • Increase the marketing efficiency with automated decisions and reporting based upon data for prescriptive and predictive modeling
  • Create data pipelines in an environment with VMs, Cloud services (AWS) and modern data ingestion tools like Fivetran
  • Build algorithms and prototypes
  • Embrace development best practices and ensure code and data quality, by combining raw information from different sources
  • You modify databases according to requests, perform tests and design conceptual as well as logical data models and flowcharts
  • Share your work and knowledge at many levels (team, company, stakeholders)
  • Proactively improve our infrastructure, suggest, try and adopt new tools
  • Our current Tech Stack: python3 (+ data packages, e.g. pandas), SQL, Fivetran, AWS
Your Skills

  • You have at least 3 years of software engineering experience
  • You have Python skills and you can exploit concurrency, parallel and distributed techniques
  • You have knowledge of SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases
  • You aim for clean and well engineered solutions, while keeping an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
  • You have good English communication skills; being able to explain to the team
  • You are comfortable to work in multinational interdisciplinary teams and you preferably have international experience
  • You take ownership of your tasks and support the team embracing sharing and collaboration
  • Data engineering certification (e.g IBM Certified Data Engineer) is a plus
