We’re seeking an Intern, Developer Analytics (Python, Azure) , to partner with key stakeholders and peers to support and engage with our powerful networks of people, opportunities, and investments. ABOUT THE TEAM
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Digital Business Solution, our successful hire will contribute to the team mandate, which is responsible for the support, analysis and deployment of solutions for Capital Markets including these 3 asset classes: Public Equity, Fixed Income and Alternative Investment. We are focused on value-creation via efficiently designing, planning and delivering the appropriate scalable digital business solutions within PSP’s operating model.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern, Developer Analytics (Python, Azure) , you’ll:
Contribute to the development of Python libraries and applications for Capital Markets
Work closely with business analysts to identify and understand source data systems as well as business rules in analytical solutions
Contribute to the development of Azure Solutions and/or the migration of existing solutions to the Cloud
Write technical documentations that will allow a better follow-up of the system developments
Contribute to maintaining and enhancing complex business intelligence solutions
Collaborate and share ideas with communities of practice
Ensure quality in the delivery and documentation of development activities including rigorous testing
Support team members in the development of solutions according to the development patterns and solutions design while contributing to team effectiveness
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or mathematics and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience and/or enrolled in a Master’s program in finance, business administration, information technology, or equivalent
1+ year of experience in Python programming
Familiarity with Cloud frameworks and the complete stack of Microsoft Azure (Azure function, Azure SQL, Service bus, Eventhub, Eventgrid, AppInsight, KeyVault) and Snowflake is an asset
Good experience and knowledge of code optimization and SQL
Eager to learn and open-mindedness
Proven analytical skills, with a structured approach and sense of priorities
Dynamic, autonomous and highly motivated by new challenges
Excellent team spirit and results driven
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to change
Bilingualism required (fluency in French and English)
Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
